Who We Are
Afrah Development and relief Agency is a voluntary charitable organization
which is also affiliated to other international NGO’s. Here in Uganda AFRAH started its operations in 2005 which has continued up to date Afrah Development and relief Agency was established in 2004 by 8 members to offer relief and development services to the vulnerable communities across Uganda and got fully registered with the civil wars and political turmoil in 80s and 90s which affected several communities in term of social-economic progress, this led to collapse of infrastructures, increased levels of poverty, degradation of environment, hence a need sufficed to empowering the disadvantaged people of Uganda through participatory development and relief programs based on human dignity, self-reliance and social justice.
